Applying Tire Dressing

Any suggestions on applying tire dressing to MT tires?

I have been using one of those cheap paint brushes for this, and it works, but it takes a while to get it done. And I hate using the aerosol ones because it gets on the wheels...

I simply use a yellow foam wax pad for tire dressings.

That works fine on regular street tires, but it is a pain for Mud Terrain tires... Specially on the edge.

Those are a PITA no matter what you use unless its a spray.

And then the spray is a PITA too since some of it ends up on the wheels...

agreed haha i just go up and down in a vertical pattern in between all of it ..... my tires are the BF all terrain ta ko 34's

Yeah, that is what I have been doing with one of those cheap brushes from the Home Cheapot...

I couldn't agree more!

When I'm doing these type of tires I do them with a brush and it works great!

Wow Bobby!

That is one clean looking Dakota you have yourself there.

I have the All Terrains on my Silverado and I usually spray down the grooves with All Season Dressing.

Thanks for the complement!!

It's a 1999 and I bought it new. I'm the only one that touches it and even though it's driven every day I try to take care of it the best I can. I put the All Terrains on last fall and it was a great decision to go with those tires.

Normally I'd use a foam applicator but with the aggressiveness of tread and lugs I had to come up with a different approach. Brushing seemed to be a logical approach and it's worked out very well...

Has anyone tried the Lake Country tire dressing applicators? I just picked up some of them, and they seem to work pretty well. They are made from a tougher foam material and are nice and thick.
