My detailing experience is limited so maybe I'm being a little too cautious with my questions below but I greatly appreciate any answers.

1. I washed, dried and clayed today (friday) but can't get to the Wolfgang Finishing Glaze and Deep Gloss Paint Sealant until Sunday. The car will stay parked outside but no rain is in the forecast. Will I be fine just applying the glaze and sealant without washing again?

2. The temperature will most likely be in the mid to high 40's when I apply the glaze and sealant. Will this have an impact on cure time? Is there anything worth knowing when applying these products in lower temperatures?

Thank you.

1. I would wash the car again, do you have a waterless wash?
2. I've applied WGDGS at around 50 and it was ok, did the swipe test and removed. Wolfgang says to keep dry for 12 hours after removal

I always feel most comfortable with another wash and in your case i love my rinseless method. I can't work any other product unless i know the paint is clean.

Cautious is good!

My only experience with lower temps often comes with lower relative humidities and i usually get faster set up times. As it applies to your sealant and like vobro suggested, i like the swipe test. When your finger swipes the product after the recommeded manufacturer dwell time it either streaks or wipes clean. If clean, its ready but meteorological conditions can either delay that or expedite it.

And, libe vobro said, i am as concerned about maintaining the cure time (12 hours) for max durability. It sounds like it may remain outdoors overnight but i would not be as concerned about dew after it was wiped off 8-9 hours earlier but rain after 2 hours after wipe off i would not like.

Chiming in here. If it were me I'd give it another wash. In my area winds kick up to 50mph with a mix of dirt and lower temps introduce condensation so I wake up to a nasty film over my wife's car. Try and make sure it won't get too cold while it cures.

I'd suggest you do the baggy test before doing anything else. Your car is sitting outside with no paint protection. You might need to clay again.
