With the long weekend coming up I was planning to polish, seal and wax but here in the northeast they expect temps in the high 70's to low 80's. I bought a canopy so the sun is not an issue. However, do you forsee the temps being an issue using a Flex and Menzerna polishes?

Thanks,
Howard

Shouldn't be a problem just as long as you're out of the sun.

I just used a compound, polish and wax today. temp got to 83 and I was in the garage. No problems, altho the polish did dry out a little quicker so I found working in smaller areas was better.

If temps were in excess of 90-95 degree's, there may be an issue with rapid drying. Temps at, or below low 80's...no problemos :xyxthumbs:

What about the other end of the spectrum? How low of a temp can you polish and what should be done to compensate?

I wouldn't polish below freezing. Most garges will stay above freezing if you are in it anyway. During Christmas when Idid a few details, I had to throw a space heater in the garage. worked just fine.

If it's really cold, I just turn on a halogen light :xyxthumbs:
