First of all that is one sweet turn round Toto but on this picture..I don't know if it's my eyes but do I see some small scratches...almost like marring? Right where the sun hit's the vehicle...I could be out to lunch but that's just what I see....just wondering that's all.

Another question, when you do these BMW's do you gauge the paint? Reason I ask is because the bumper edge seemed like it had a bad scratch and it looks like you got rid of it but the edges are the worse because that is where the paint is usually the thinnest....meaning higher probability of burning the paint with the rotary. Just wondering.

Hope everything goes well with the oil change buddy, looking forward to the picture of the priming the pad...oh and thanks for the PM very helpful...are those the products you use on a daily basis? Very interesting products.

Like I said Master TOTO! Your work is inspiring awe.

What do you use Adam's detail spray for? I use mine as conditioner on my pad for wax.

Thanks all for the compliments!~

Nica: yes, there were some small scratches I found in the sun (that's the biggest critic of black cars) and pulled out the Festool and XMT-1 to go over that area. I really like this product for small surface scratches...works fast and does an excellent job.

Yes, I guage the paint before I start any job. It reveals any thin areas and also shows if the car has been repainted. BUT, it only works on metal surfaces (our guage works on steel and aluminum). Plastic is very touchy to work with, but I keep getting more knowledgeable with each repair.

Sparkie: yep, I use Adams for spraying a dry pad and also spritz my microfiber towel when I'm removing #26. Like a lot of quick detailers (Wolfgang is another good one for this process), it helps in the final buff process.

Health: yep, back from the hospital. It was wierd watching your heart while the doctor is explaining your blocked arteries! Fortunately, I've got partial blockage on peripheral arteries and did not get stents. Instead, there are some remarkable drugs to help plus going on a strict diet and exercise regimen that will help free the blockages (guess that ends the "drive-thru" places for me). The funny part of the process was the surgeon found out what I did in detailing and I spent half the time on the table explaining what wax and process he should use on his Mercedes LOL....nice guy.

Take care of your health EVERYONE!
