aqua-wax still the way to go?

Have any of you applied Megs' Ultimate Quik Wax on a wet, freshly washed surface? Does it work as well as AquaWax?

i find the AW to be slightly easer to use, more cost efficient, and last a little longer...

Recently ordered a gallon of AW. Got the order and started 2nd guessing why did I order so much AW. I have a Nighthawk Black Pearl Acura TL that needs a wash often. After drying it is left with lots of water spots. It's crazy hot in Texas right now and water evaporates on the car almost as quickly as it touches the car. AW as a finishing step to my wash is incredible. New layer of coverage, easy on and off, no spots.

I'm wondering if AW has anti static properties as I seem to have less dust on the car than usual.

After 2 washes I am glad that I got a gallon.

I feel your pain about water spots, no matter how fast you are the heat here in texas just evaporates the water too quick. I buying a gallon of Aquawax this week just for this reason....that and it makes my wheels look AWESOME.

Aqua Wax is one of the products that has not left my shelves since the first day I tried it... It is a superb product!

Optimum Car Wax is a great alternative, I really like it. I'd like to try Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant next. I'll probably be trying the Wolfgang next, not to replace my beloved Optimum Car Wax, but just something new to try.

have you tried Aqua Wax?

Sorry to bring this thread up. But is there such a thing as applying it too often? Is it designed to be used after every wash?

If you want to, but I've found it to last 1-2 month as a stand alone. You should use Fast Clean and Shine after a wash, and AW like once a month.

I too have AW as my go to vs all my other waxes etc. Its just to easy to use, looks bling blinging, great durability, and versatile (paint, plastic, chrome, metal, glass etc)

Really awesome over DG #105, and may look better the next day after applied.
Another good use is on chrome wheels after a wash.

Never used Auqawax. Was considering it until I found out it was actually a sealer. As we all know, You should not put a sealer over a carnauba. It's supposed to affect the sealers longevity. You can top a sealer with a carnauba however. That being said. I started looking for a spray wax that gave some pop and was easy on easy off. I have used the Souveran. Great wax, easy on easy off, great pop 24.99. Little high for a spray wax. Looked at Meguiars New Ultimate Spray Wax with the Hydrophobic Polymer Technology. Reasonable price 9.99, Easy on easy off. Wax not a sealer, Great pop and great smell and readily available. Tried it a love it. That summarized my search for a good spray wax. Now before anyone thinks I said Auqawax wax not as good. I didn't. I said based on the criteria, It was not a choice to try.

Aqua wax is one sealant that works over carnuba.

I have heard some people say you shouldn't use it after every weekly wash because they say the build up can affect the look somehow. I would guess don't use it anymore than every other weekly wash and maybe every third wash preferably.
