There should be a post on this somewhere but I can't find one. I have been using Souveran spray wax (the new formula) and have been pretty pleased with it. However after all the positive reviews on Aquawax I am curious how they would compare to each other as far as durability, ease of application and shine. I can buy Aquawax locally at just about half the cost of Souveran and don't have to pay for shipping.

Typically with any spray wax durability won't be great. Personally, I'd choose Souvern spray hands down. But I can see how price points would sway most.

Aquawax is not wax its a sealant spray. Im sure that Pinnacle Souveran is carnuba based and is not polycharged meaning that it does not crosslink with the paint surface giving it the same longevity as the DG Aqua.

Apples to oranges.

Aquawax is a wax-as-you-dry product; that's how it is intended to be used. Souveran Liquid Spray Wax is a true carnauba wax, in a spray form.

Ideally you would use both. I generally apply a (dedicated) spray wax after every other wash, mainly to boost the protection and shine of my LSP. If I were you I would use Duragloss after every wash as a drying aid - it will make drying the vehicle easier while adding some additional gloss and slickness. You can still use Souveran Liquid Spray Wax like you normally would.

Aquawax: after every wash to add gloss and slicknes
Souveran Liquid Spray Wax: after every other wash to give your LSP an added boost while injecting a just-waxed carnauba shine.

Thanks for clearing this up. This is exactly how I use AW and OCW.

Someone needs to do a spray wax shootout. There are so many spray waxes in the market.

Just recently ordered the aquawax, souveran, meguiars, a few cg kinds, sonax, blackfire.

Going to compare all of them to the optimum spray wax that I've been using for a year now and love.

Just what we need. I'll be looking forward to your reviews.
