Are there any foods that you don't like or care for?

I like peppers but not jalapeños they just have a odd acidic flavor to me. I’ll eat about any other pepper as long as it’s not unreasonably hot. I don’t mind spice but also want flavor more than heat.

I’m also out on liver & Thai food. I don’t like a lot of vegetables I know that’s not a good way to be but I am. Fish has to be fried and onions have to be sautéed or in the form of an onion ring . I am deathly allergic to bananas, all melons and tree nuts.

Interesting topic! Cooking is a passion of mine, I am learning and trying new things all the time. I don't care for dairy products, sweets like candy and cookies and what not. I don't do fast food, really don't eat out at all except for Chinese once a week, and that because the place we get it from kills it.

Don't know if if this is a domestic meal or not. But it's brown beans in a sauce and is served with a kind of fried pork. This brown sauce is my moms favorite meal and I can barely stand the smell of it. It where not just gag but I throwed up. White beans in tomato sauce is okay though and a good chili is not so bad either. But most beans is something I can not eat. Oatmeal porridge is very common as to eat for breakfast here. But I can not eat it and I have sure tried over the years LOL. Otherthings with oat or oatmeal no problem to eat.

Hehe would be fun to switch up dinners for a week and the most popular domestic dinners from different countries. We get used to different food cultures from young ages.

I don’t do liver.... that’s bout it. Tried a balut once..... use to have it on fear factor.... google it.....

I do not like flan, and sour cream is a vile creation that looks like Elmer’s glue.

One other thing I absolutely hate and it’s not a food but a drink. Coffee, I know most people can’t function without it but I can’t even stand the smell of it. I get a headache just smelling coffee. I have an agreement with my wife and teenage boys that they won’t brew coffee until after I leave for work in the morning.

Interesting thread here. I'm skeeved by seafood and don't eat anything living in the ocean/water. Nothing. Zero. Never have / never will. I've heard people say similar before - but they always have an exception; shrimp - whatever. Not me. When someone says something smells like fish - nobody wants to smell it.

On the other hand I love ethnic food: Indian, Thai, Korean, Mexican, Italian, German, etc... As long as dish has no seafood I'll usually like it. Other thing is, I'm not eating any weird meat: ostrich, bison, deer, squirrel - nothing like that.

No coffee for me either. It’s been thirty years since I tried a cup.

My three levels of hell are
1. Mayonnaise-whoever invented this should have been drawn and quartered
2. Mushrooms-boogers that grow on cow crap
3. Cheese-only acceptable on a pizza otherwise it smells like athletes foot fungus

don't eat ranch dressing, sour cream, cottage cheese, or asparagus.

Other than those I love all seafood as long as its wild caught in the US, Canada, or the Scandanavian countries. Don't eat farm raised from Asia, you want food poison that's how you get food poison. I eat squirrel, rabbit, deer, elk, mountain goat, dove, quail, duck, hell Ive even eaten wild pigeon.

Quiche! It looks good and usually smells good, but the texture is just vomit inducing to me. Mushrooms are another. Like mushroom flavor but the texture again kills it for me.

I'm a picky eater. If I listed everything I don't like here this thread would be multiple pages long after I'm done.

I hate coffee too.

As a matter of fact, I tend to stay away from anything that : "you need to develop a taste for".... if it tasted good, you would not have to do that ;)

Oh, and another thing I can't eat, Chorizo, just nasty to me.
