So i was in the middle of a trade "negotiation" with another forum member some of his high end wax for the rest of my (75-80% full) CG 50/50 paste wax... but i couldnt let thw whole thing go... i had to go with some wax... some sealant... some spray sealant..... the other party gets 3 diff products and seems happy with the trade... i get 1 product and am happy with trade... but why couldnt i just send wax for wax!?! Anyone else feel the same way???

Haha I here ya man. This is a good thread to find out if other people are the same way. I have a feeling their are a decent amount of people wouldn't want to give away their whole products so they break it down to a bunch of different stuff.

Not me. I only like to keep what I use and give away what I don't so it doesn't go to waste; the minimalist method.

I actually am trying to part with some stuff today. I have an old Sears orbital buffer that I bought 20 or so years ago, and I was going to bring it to the dump. When I got it, I used it a few times but decided it was more trouble than it was worth, so I carefully packed it back up in the original box (even has the original Simoniz wax sample!) and it's been sitting on a shelf for close to 20 years I guess. So back to today, I open the box to take it out to recycle the cardboard and take the machine to the dump...but after seeing how "new" it looked...I closed the box and put it back on the shelf. Anybody know a good shrink?

I recently gave away some stuff that I'm not going to use any more since I bought new products that I'm happy with. Except when I bought OPC I didn't get rid of my Megs apc since I can probably use it for other things like cleaning the garage floor

I have accepted my sickness, and as long as I don't polish the paint off the car, I think this obsession is ok :)

Every product I own gets used

same here. there are so many flavor/hype of the month product(s) *you know there are many of them* and i try carefully to pick and choose what i will actually will use and not let it sit and collect dust...

I am pretty good with products. But my microfiber situation has gotten out of control....

I tend to be. My problem is if I find a product I like I want to have a bunch of it and I'll buy more than I could possibly use in a reasonable amount of time.

I don't usually overdo it with stuff that can go bad, but sometimes I have bought gallons when I should have stuck with a smaller size.

I'd say 95% of us are hoarders. It's cheaper than drugs? :dunno:

I admit I probably have more than I'll ever use.

I checked my car wash cabinet the other day and I still have a gallon of 901, a half gallon of Blackfire, bottle of Ultima and a half gallon of Tropi-care. That doesn't include the samples I have.

You have made a mistake.

You do not have "an old Sears buffer"
You have a valuable collectors item that should be put on E-bay.
I did the same thing a couple of months ago and got $35.00 for it.

I definitely have more then I'll ever use. I love trying different products but I get hooked on others and keep using those and forget about other great products I have.
