I've never used 409 for a clay lube....May have to try it.


For my homemade recipe for cleaning rifle bores:
"White" Bore Cleaner

(This is a modification of an ammonia-solution...It thickens the liquid ammonia and helps to keep it in the bore for more efficient cleaning.)

-2 parts:10% Household Ammonia,
-1 part: Standard household "sudsy" ammonia (Parson's)
-1 part: Dawn Liquid Dishwashing Detergent
-1 part: Formula 409

Heres my late entry LOL I have my buddies to thank for a lot of it!! Arrrghh!! I forgot to get my Red Mist in the picture that my Dad sent me just a few weeks ago!! :( I got the supernatural soap in there though Da!
