Are you smarter than a detailer?

Re: Are you smarter than a detailer? - Updated 1/1

@Flatlander:

If you don't mind...
-How many cc's of Opti-Coat 2.0 did you use to "coat" the vehicle?
-Is this vehicle sporting one or two film-layers of OC 2.0?
-What applicator/application-process did you employ?
-What was the total elapsed time between your OC 2.0 application to the vehicle; and,
the photo-op session (that seemingly/purposely was designed for this thread's questionnaire)?
-Got any pics of the OC 2.0 syringe and its remaining pre-polymer resins, if there would be any?

Thanks in advance for any information you may supply in regards to the above requests.

:)

Bob, I coated the vehicle twice with the included foam pad. I did it in November 2012 and the coats were applied a week apart. The second coat has been on for about a month now.
I am NOT an expert by any stretch so the process was a learning one but very doable. You can check this thread over at optimum forums for more info too. http://optimumforums.org/index.php?showforum=38 If you mess it up you can just polish down/off a section and re-apply. I used a total of about 20ml for the two coats.

Thanks Mike for your follow-up to my inquiries, along with
supplying the Optimum link...I do appreciate it!

(BTW: The period of one week between your two applications is truly an eye opener for me.)

And...Thanks for starting this thread...Great to learn something new!!

:)
