That would be a question for bradley at ads. But i have never heard of it being able to be diluted or anything. Never on the gallon jug/ bottle.

I'd think you can use it as-is right out of the bottle. I've never bought the gallon jug (is it thicker/concentrated?), but the product in the 16oz bottles is pretty thin and applies very nicely.

gallon should be the same

It is a ready to use product in the bottle and gallon. Now it can be used as a spray in rinse but that uses a lot of product.

I realize that it is ready to use from the bottle but i was wondering if it has the ability to be diluted. There are similar products that are ready to use but may also be diluted.
Im sure that it can be diluted as it would be as simple adding x amount of water to x amount of product. But by diluting Amplify in any ratio cause the product to become ineffective?
I did contact Amour Detail with the question but have not heard back yet.

Well I received a response from Bradley at Armour Detail. I had ask Armour if they would recommend diluting Amplify when used as a drying aid and if so in what ratio and if not why not.

His response was he would not recommend diluting it as when using as a drying aid it is already being diluted by the water on the surface.

So I started contemplating (again) Bradley's response to my question of can Amplify be diluted. He did say he did not recommend diluting as it is already being diluted by spraying on a wet surface.
However what if one apply1ied it to the paint after the paint is mostly dry such as after blowing off with a Blower? To my thinking if Armour recommends applying to wet panels then it must be ok to dilute the product as that is what one is doing by applying to wet panels.
Anybody willing to try it? Call me cheap but at $20.00 for 16 ounces I feel it would be a great benefit to dilute even 1:1 as that would double one's applications.
I don't have the product but may be willing to buy one 16 oz bottle to try it.

You'll never know until you try

If you want to Dilute your Sio2 detail spray why not go with an Sio2 Water-less or Rinse-less wash that are made for this and are planned to be diluted? Many Rinse-less washes have the dilution for a QD already made.

Holy cow!
I heard that you ran off with a stripper (or was that @richy) 🤔
Regardless, glad to see you posting again

That's what I did.

Gtechniq says that you can make a ceramic detail by diluting C2 1:20. That tells me that these detailers are already about 99% water so why further dilute it?

You know I've been trying to decide which detailer/drying aid to go with such as Tec582, Amour Amplify, Meguiars Ceramic.
I've applied them to wet panels as a drying aid and although that is probably the easiest way or even maybe spray and rinse is easier, those methods tend to use a lot of product and also dilute the product. Then however applied the detailers only last 1-2 weeks.

So i am contemplating forgoing the detailers all together and just using a spray wax in place of a detailer. The application process would be the same and perhaps only slightly more difficult to buff off a spray wax vs a detailer. That way I could get around a month of protection. The cost would be very similar.

I am definitely going with Jescar Ultralock as my go to sealer so I am considering acquiring the Jescar Ceramic Spray Wax due to product synergy and it available in a gallon jug.

That's why I never liked using a drying aid (besides not clogging up my good drying towels), things like DG AquaWax, I always applied them separately after drying the car.

I dont top every time i wash, only sometimes. But Ive forgone ads amplify and ceramic spray sealant last 2 times i got to wash and used ads beads. First spray amd rinse product i ever used. Seems to work well. Ads says it lats longer than amplify. Who knows. I got a gallon for 35 bucks so couldnt beat it to try. I like it so far. Quick and easy for the wheels too. I used 4-5 ounces per vehcile. Idk if thats to much or not and like ive said its only the first time trying this type of product.
