I did a few cars for a customer yesterday (express in and out on one and paint correction on the other), should i email the guy asking for a little review on my google places page if he liked my work? or a fb page comment?

No. If its a new person, I tell them if they discover a problem to please call me and let me know. Other then that, I do nothing else

I always offer a small discount off their next service if they email me a review/testimonial that I can put on my website.

Every customer who leaves their email info with me get's an automatic email appointment confirmation, followed by a review request.

I use a scheduling program called Genbook that does a fantastic job with this. It costs me $20 a month...but I can't tell you how easy it makes my life not having to try and remember to ask for certain info. I've gotten TONS of reviews just since January using this program. It's crazy how many people review.

Here's the proof! All these reviews are just from March till now. Quite a collection for that short period of time. It works, no doubt about it.
