Family=room needed Caddy all the way. Wanna trade a Fusion for a vette??? Let me know :D. I will say this in a high volume area with a lot of traffic even I would start considering taking comfort over high hp/tq cars. It get old sitting in traffic and moving just enough to have to go into 2nd gear then stop, wait, 1st,2nd,stop,wait,1st,2nd,stop,wait, honk horn, give middle finger, roll down window and threaten them to get off the car so you can #$@%^, 1st,2nd,stop,wait,grab gun, wish for someone to piss you off,1st,2nd,stop,wait lol you get the picture.

I think I may hold off another couple months. The hard part is coming to terms with not "needing" versus "wanting" the Vette. To those that bash American cars and Cadillac, I highly suggest you revisit them.

I also highly caution those that can to support the American Auto Industry, our worlds economy has benefits and weaknesses as it relates to this very important sector.

Voted for STS-V. I really like both. Vette is so nice, but two seater.

Again, I would get STS-V, black. :)

I voted for the Caddy but one of the things I think that's totally out of whack is the small gas tank for such a hoss powertrain. It should be 25 gallons +.

Call me crazy, but I don't see that much in common.

hahahaha, which takes my point even further, the suburban has a MUCH nicer interior.

either way, i was referring more to the 2001 vette and the same gen. suburban. the point i am getting at, is the interiors of GM cars, especially, are plastic and chinsy looking. by 15k miles, everything is creeking and the dashboards are splitting down the middle. i look more into the quality of materials. nevertheless, the sts is a better pic in this situation.

Look into the Trailblazer SS

They come with a Corvette based, 6.0 LS2 V8. Putting out 395 horsepower and 400 ft. lbs. of torque.

Scott the problem will come when you get a call from the wife, Honey I am running late can you grab the kids for me. Will be hard to double car seat up the vette!

get a cheap beater like an older accord and keep the vette... when your son is able to drive give the accord(or whatever) to him. teach him the dos and donts of keeping the car up. when he maintains the appearance of the car for x ammount of time... buy him what he wants. :) am i looking too far into the future? sorry:o
