AT&T to buy T-Mobile USA for 39 Billion

Too early to judge whether this will be a good or bad thing. However, my experience with AT&T over the past 2 years, and the past 2 years only, has been great.

I have noticed 3g coverage being expanded to more areas. Regular Edge coverage has expanded as well.

However, if they go up on their rates, I'm packing up my iPhone and going to Verizon

ATT has great service where I live but yeah I think they all have there problems

Agreed.

I've had Sprint.. bad service in my area with decent pricing.. but this was also before the smart phone boom

I had T-Mobile with a few different Blackberrys. Great service, awesome pricing.. I miss those days and so does my wallet.

Switched to AT&T for the iPhone.. With the amount of money i've spent on my monthly bill (about $100).. I could've bought the phone 10 times over, new. I like the service but the price gouging is outrageous. Oh and if your late even 1 day on your bill they are relentless at calling you all day.

I wish us 3G users could have a cheaper plan than the iPhone 4 users... say 60-70$ instead of the bogus $100.

I dont understand how customers bound by a contract to Tmobile, can be expected to just transfer to a carrier they didnt agree to. I personally HATE AT&T as much as I hate Apple, so the Iphone is NOT a selling point for me. Is there going to be an option to cut your contract soon, or are we going to be getting screwed in every way on this deal?

I was with Verizon for 4 years. My ex opened an at&t account in my name while I was overseas. I got stuck with it. After a year and a half of crappy to no reception I fired at&t and went back to Verizon. Happy I did.

you went to ATT specifically for the iphone? seriously????

Did I mention I have a bridge forsale?

They buying, selling, merging of large companies means more jobs will be eliminated, the employment lines will be longer, and more corporate executives, aka gold-diggers, will exit with millions more in their pockets.

I agree with Bobby G.!!! It would have been nice to have bought stock in T-Mobile two months ago!!! As for their service, in my area neither AT&T nor T-Mobile are very reliable. I've just converted from a pre-paid Verizon to a contract with them and bought 3 iPhones....The service I received at the Verizon store was second to none and the young lady who helped with our plan was extremely knowledgeable and well versed. The iPhones are great, we have enjoyed every moment using them!!!

My name is Jeff and I like to make things SHINE!!!!:buffing:
