attention advance detailing your picture is being used by hack

He emailed me last night , asking what i wanted.
I explained and he said that a buddy of his on SoCal told hime they were his pics and he could use them.
I told him That the Range Rover was photographed in my driveway with my across the street neighbor's house clearly showing.

I politely asked him to remove them and he didn't respond after that.
I'll just assume he did take them off.
I really don't have the time to check his ads.

Let's just hope that he does the right thing.

Damn, i guess i'll have to start using a watermark.

I believe he did remove them and it looks to me somebody else is using your pics.lol

Yeah , my pics are gone.
At least he did the right thing.
I don't know why you said its gone but in my area its still showing heres the ads click thisPorsche, Range Rover, Ferrari, Lamborghini, vehicle MOBILE DETAILING

Advance l'm one of your fans here in sacramento l like your work. When I saw the picture I was excited that you are here in sacramento but when I read the ads its not you.

Thanks Toast, Grove he took down the original ad an used my pics in another one.
When i wrote him about it, he took that one down also and told me he never said that the cars in the pics were his work.
Now he tells me to just STFU....classy guy.
Well, when you're far away you can talk trash i guess.

I don't want this to turn into an internet shouting match .
I do know his name is Dustin ,for what it's worth.

Interesting...I live in the Sac area. Great eye to the OP...this guys a dirt bag if he can't even post his own work. Maybe he doesn't have anything worth posting :)

His logic is that since he never implied that the cars were his work i should STFU.
I must be unreasonable one here to think that if someone places pics of cars in their ads, those cars were detailed by that person.

In my head when i look at a service ad and see pictures I'm assuming it's related to the service and/or servicer/servicee especially when it comes to something like detailing. If a body repair shop were to use another shop's pictures that's false advertising in my opinion. The product received is not the products being shown/implied on the ad.

Same thing happen to me. I was on craiglist here in los Angeles page and picture caught my eye. I knew I had seen some of the pictures somewhere else. Turns out the guy was using the pictures from envious detailing which I have seen his work on luxury4play

If there is ever a concern on a picture you have seen used by someone else Google has reverse image search. It will show you everywhere that pic is being used on the internet.

Every time he posts an ad on craigslist, post it up here and the members can flag it as spam and get it deleted.
