Attention everyone from New England!

Currently with my job working for The Outback as a server I am not really available on the weekends. I do have Wednesday's and Thursday's off. So perhaps a get together on one of those days for people local? I can arrange a day off I believe 2 weeks in advance so for something in the future it shouldn't be a problem.

I could do a wednesday or thursday. I'm out of my day job at 3:30pm. Wanna hit up the Outback in Lowell?! lol jk. I'm sure your sick of that place by now!

I would love to come to this meet but its almost 5-6 hour drive and I have work from Tuesday-Saturday.

Excellent! I think we are going to have a local get together in the upcoming weeks to discuss possibilities for the big group meet. I'll keep you posted on that as well.

I hear you Slick. I'm going to be working 7 days a week once the weather breaks. So, getting this planned well ahead of time is going to help us all out I think. It seems everyone has different schedules.

So we are up to 12...I still think there are more people from the area.

As Don mentioned we should have a get together just a night where those who can, meet up and discuss some possible locations, events, etc. This way I'm not stuck doing everything (no offense, just don't have the time really!).

Would anyone be against meeting during the week? It seems as thought that some of us work all weekend long, so a quick meet up after work during the week may be best.

Let me know what everyone thinks.

Do we want the meet to be a social gathering at a restaurant? or at someones house with power and water and a chance to talk and show? We could have the bigger event in a couple of months, but perhaps have a weekly or monthly meet up at some central location for a type of "Bench Racing" kinda thing.

I sure am! I think this is a good idea and agree that a bigger meet on the weekend would be the way to go here! :props:

I'll contact one of the admins and see if we can have it changed.

As for having it at someones house, I'd be more than willing to use my home. I don't know if you guys would want to travel up this way, it would be hike for both you and Bobby.

Always a good idea! lol.

In all seriousness if we are doing this during the week after work (which for me that's what we have to do if it's during the week), then playing around with rotaries and stuff is possible in my garage but my lighting sucks and my garage is tiny. If we do it at my home. Depends if anyone has a better location or not.

And I most likely will have a couple wobbly pops...nothing like an ice cold beer and pizza!
