Attention everyone from New England!

Just a point of interest.

The annual Classic Car Flea Market is going to be held during the second weekend (14 & 15) of May down at the Comcast Center in Mansfield.
I try to attend and browse through it if I get the chance. Not much in detailing products, just one dealer out of Somerset that I recall.

I'd be willing to check it out if I don't have any details booked for that weekend. We shall see.

So is it kind of a swap meet? Or more of a car show?

This is more swap meet with just a few cars being shown.

Most of the classic cars that are there are up for sale and even most of those are fixer-uppers. Its not like the classic car show that Marshfield has or use to have at the fair grounds. Haven't been to the show at Marshfield in years. Nor at the show here at the Brockton fair grounds and its just around the corner from me.

Seems lately that I miss the date for these shows, lol.

Hope I'm able to attend on whatever date. Just ordered the Griot's Polisher and Pad Kit that is on sale along with a few other products a couple of hours ago. Just got under the wire with the free shipping.

I'll bring the polisher with me so that you guys can show me how to plug it in. lol :xyxthumbs:

LOL Yeah I'll see if I can get some instructions printed out for you on how to plug it in!
 
In reading some of these posts it looks like many of you will be bringing a portion of your detailing supplies including machines ... I'd like to drive my Corvette up but if I bring anything I'll need my truck..

What to do! :laughing:

One thing I like about the C5 Z06 is the amount of truck space it has. I'll be able to bring a few select items with me as I'm sure you guys will as well. :props:

Just an update to those of you who didn't send me your email address.

The small meet up is probably not going to be at my home. I'm putting my house on the market in the next few weeks, which makes having people over difficult.

So, any other ideas even if it's just going out having dinner and a few drinks.

Yea it's not due to problems or my gf and I splitting or anything. Basically, my gf's mom is having trouble keeping up with her bills and the maintenance on her home. So, it's either we move in with her or she moves in with us. Her mortgage is only $500 a month compared to mine which is $2,300. So, money wise it makes a lot more sense for us to move there. Plus we can upgrade things and fix everything that needs to be fixed.

Shouldn't be too bad...hopefully...lol
 
Saving money is a good thing, especially with how much everything costs now... Sorry for my absence on this thread for the last month.... Hopefully I didn't miss anything about this meet..

Is there as plans as far as a date ?

Nothing new as of yet. I have kind of dropped the ball on this right now. I've been swamped between working 7 days a week, trying to fix up my gf's moms house so we can move in. And constantly having to leave my house for showings.

I know how you feel I live at home but we are trying to move closer to work so I have to leave randomly too and been working 6 days a week and gettin a few details few and far between... I wish I had more but this weather doesn't help
