I'm always amazed at the relatively good shape a cars paint can be in when the owner never really washes it. This was a two year leased Audi that was due for a turn in and the leasee wanted to make sure he wasn't hit for any extra wear and tear charges. He confessed to only using the touchless drive thru washes and never hand washed it. Down side to this is it never really looked good for two years! Until now.

A little leftover snow from the previous night and wheels that look like they've been skipped for two years.

My poor Daytona brush.

Probably two years worth of fallout here too.

On to the after shots.

*Washed with Meguiar's Hyper-Wash and my free sample of Poorboy's World Bug Squash (love this stuff!).
*Wheels done w/ Meguiar's Wheel Brightener and Super Degreaser and then dressed with All Season Dressing.
*Meg's APC on the interior, APC+ on the carpets, Leather Cleaner & Conditioner on the seats.
*Exterior sealant was Meg's #21.

I didn't do any paint correction on this one and it still looks pretty good for an '08. So the question is, is it better NOT to wash your car? LOL, just kidding.

Cars ready for a lease turn-in or one ready to be sold by the owner are turning out to be great business!

Thanks for looking.

BRAVO!!

What a terrific transformation and plenty of before and after photos to back it up! :props:

What a mess to start off with!

That car is probably in better shape now that when it left the dealership because we all know how much care they put into a vehicle before giving it to the customer.

Nice work indeed! :dblthumb2:

Great job!

What a mess when they brought it to you. Now, it's beautiful. :props:

It still amazes me how poorly people take care of such an expensive piece of equipment.

Looks great, Im a big fan of Audis.
Hopefully you can get them on a maitenance plan for his/her next vehicle.

Looks real good!:props:
What did you use to clean the interior and wheels?

Nice work, albeit on a basic clean-up. I too have noticed that cars that hardly ever get washed tend to stay in pretty good overall shape. The layer of dirt and grime protects the paint from being scratched, and because he used touchless washes there was nothing abrading the paint to cause major swirls.

Haha! I have to agree! I did a car a while back like that. The woman bought it in October and it had not been washed until sh brought it to me (so her husband said), I think it had at least gone through the touchless a few times because it wash that bad. But anyway, the paint was in great shape as far as scratches go but man did it need clay!

I cleaned it up and I now have a returning customer; she said shell be back at the beginning of spring. Hopefully I can get her on a maintenance plan- fingers are crossed!

Car looks great man-i would not have wanted to be that Daytona brush-Shooooo!

Nice work! :props:

I agree, I get a lot of lease turn ins, and people looking to sell their vehicles. Keep up the good work!

Looks good! :props: Did you clay it at all?

Sorry, forgot to add that. Almost always clay at least the tops and behind the wheels.

Hopefully you can get them on a maitenance plan for his/her next vehicle.

That's always my goal with people getting rid of a car. "See how nice your NEXT car can look!"

What did you use to clean the interior and wheels?

Posted about mid-way down in the thread. APC, APC+ & Leather Cleaner & Cond. for the interior. Super Degreaser & Wheel Brightner for the wheels. All Meguiar's products.

I thought the same thing, that's what made me take the pic. What a great brush!

Thanks for all the positive comments guys.
