I've seen this car at shows over the last 6+ years and watched it transform into what it is now.

Being able to work on something i've watch get built is an unexplainable feeling!

There is a lot of carbon fiber on this car: engine bay pieces, interior pieces, trunk, hood.
The roof and wheels are hydro-graphics
Seats and headliner are silver carbon fiber looking material.

This car is not for everyone, but i'm pretty sure ANYONE can respect the time and effort that went into this! This car is known all around the area, and has won dozens of trophies, featured at Atlantic City car expo, and other invite only shows.

received:
wash/iron-x/clay
M205
some of the carbonfiber received M105 prior
engine bay pieces were polish
paint/CF/wheels/engine bay pieces sealed with DP paint sealant
tires coated with DP tire coating

interior was vacuumed and hit with mothers VLR

bear with me, trying to get the other 30+ photos up

Very nice!
Have you always worked on this car?

Negative, he had someone else that detailed it for him, and he up-kept it pretty good.

Car only has 53k miles, he hasn't even put 30k on it in 6 years. Unfortunately, it is not garage kept.

No love for the Audi?
Yes...certain ones:

I was very satisfied with being able to bring the carbon fiber back to life!
IMO:
It's not just the CF that looks great!

And:
Thanks for sharing this detailing project.

I would be curious to know how much he reduced the overall weight of the car. I would also be careful with my wash sponge/mitt etc. around that "dope" logo! I like it though.

that logo has been on there for 4+ years with zero issues. it's quite flush with the paint, as the double sided tape is recessed in the emblem, so it sits flush.

I KNEW you'd have a sarcastic answer

but when you are serious, it means business, so thank you Bob!

I'm going to have to say meh to the car, but based on the pics on the sister site, nice work to you!

I can't stand the DOPE rings, they were cool 10+ years ago and the stereo even longer, or maybe I'm just getting too old to appreciate it anymore.

I can appreciate if the owner sent out all his interior trim to get real carbon wrap with clear. Only way I can describe the seats is....unique? AWE exhaust is also a winner.

I don't think you mentioned what you used on the exhaust, I'm curious because the turnaround was very nice and I assume the car is catless now so lots of residue to deal with.

I didn't even noticed the dope rings until you gents mentioned it. heh

I'm guessing the wheels have been coated with water transfer printing? If they indeed are cf.... Wow.

Wow no kidding. That is a LOT of carbon fiber. Nice job!
it sure is! the engine bay has a bunch, the fog surrounds are CF hydro-dip, and the main engine cover is CF and only put on at shows, since it's real. oh, he even has a CF tissue box, and uses a CF cane as a hood prop.

I used Mothers metal polish by hand on the exhaust tips.
Most of the stuff done to the car, were done 5+ years ago, before show cars needed to have airbags to win. This vehicle was built to be a show car, without being "too over the top" and not practical to be driven around.

the wheels are hydro-dipped. The are factory audi (forget which model vehicle) 19" purchased from Audi new, then sent to be hydro-dipped.

You did great work on that car.

Unfortunately as an old member of the Audi World like Audios S6 I don't find the car all that interesting. To me it consists of a lot of stick on stuff for looks with very little go. Yes my Audi track car has CF parts but they have tire marks and track rash. I do like the AWE exhaust and Carbonio Intake.

oh absolutely understandable. you can't compare a track built car to a show built car.

As for performance parts: intake/down pipe/exhaust, stage2 tune.

it's lowered on Tein springs on factory struts.
