Audi clear coat issue

I have a 2017 S3 that is garage kept with 2,600 miles. I wax the car every other month and keep it clean. I have 2 spots on the hood that are each 1/2 inch long. It almost looks like the clear coat is missing. I was able to capture one of the spots in a picture and have attached it. I have never had any other car have this issue before. Has anyone else had this occur? Please provide any insights that you may have.

Those look like scratches of some sort as best as I can see from the picture.

Agree it looks like scratches or maybe etching from a bug strike or bird dropping.
