Wow. Amazing car and detail. Would be almost afraid to drive it because its so clean. But certainly the drive would be worth detailing again. :applause:

No, no bro..you don't need to have lots of $$$. Yes the products that Marc uses are top notch, I will admit to that. But just look at the write up, look at the attention to detail. If you look at all the products together it is quite a bit of $$$ but take baby steps, well look at me. It wasen't that long ago I said I would never use a rotary or spend rediculous amount of coin on a wax. I look back and wonder what happend hahaha just kidding, like you my eyes were opened and the true meaning of detailing came through. So it's not about spending big coin, but just paying attention to detail. Even down to the write up, that write up that Marc posted is incredable...its like a novel, you start reading and you get into it and you just can't seem to look away. It grasp you and takes a hold of you...I always look forward on increasing my knowledge and skills and the way to do that is be reading details such as these and what others have to say like...um...Al-53 for example.

Well just my thoughts buddy...and sorry for going off topic but really I'm trying to compliment Marc on his write up and attention to detail.

Oh man that car's amazing. Very nice job on the detail! Great write up too. THe attention to the smallest details are amazing, such as the brake calipers and everything.

Thanks Nica....Kind words.....

Ok the detail took me 10 hours which i thought was quite good although maybe i could have spent another 5 if time permitted.....

One thing i have learnt is that although i am fortuntate enough to own some very good products i am convinced that with a $40 wax providing the preparation is done correctly and perfectly similar results can be obtained....

For me the main tool in my kit is the clay bar....I see so many posts from people on smaller non detailing forums that show MY CAR after a weekly wash and polish that lack the cutting edge of reflection and shine simply because they have cut corners!!!

90% of peoples cars i do comment on the change to the visual appearance of the car once it has been clayed and dryed and quick detailed without even seeing polish or wax.......In fact some have thought the job was finished and were over the moon for me to tell them we have another 7 hours to go yet!!!

So yes expensive is good but not neccasary.......attention to detail and thoroughness is and a perfect car will always ensue if time is taken to get it right....

thanks guys
