Client came in looking to make his Audi R8 stand out and turn heads. He was in dire need of a full paint correction. No more swirls along with filling in the heavy road rash found across the entire car. This R8 has fairly low miles, but a lot of wear and tear from being driven the way it's meant to be. After going over our options, we decided to restore the luster with a full paint correction and protect with a modern sealant.
After performing a proper preparation, I pulled the R8 in under the paint correction lights. This is what I saw:
Things were definitely rough around the edges. I taped off every delicate surface with the new CarPro tape, which rocks by the way. No glue, takes the heat from the buffers well, and peels back perfect every time. Very big fan. I started by performing a test panel in the center of the hood, where most of the damage was. I was pressed for time, so I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I should have.

Here you can see how heavily swirled the tail lights were.
After 2 days of correction time, I pulled out the R8 into the sun. This day was perfect, the sun was shining all afternoon. This is the best way for me to deliver a client their car. I want them to see the flawless finish that they can begin to enjoy every day. I want them to see the amount of work and time that went into the paint correction.
With his good as new again Audi R8, my client can now feel good about himself when he shows up to clients, to friends, or even just going out to dinner.
