This beautiful weagon needed some extra care and protection.
Lots of swirls and spiderweb all over the car + RIDS.

1. All wheels cleaned with various brushes and Malco Brake-Off (good stuff, removed all break dirt easily)

2. Body was pre-soaked with CG Honey Dew. Cracks and crevices brushed.

3. IRON X soap applied with Snow Foam. Wasn't as effective as I expected but removed some of the iron contamination.

4. Washed using Megs shampoo + Merino Wool wash mitt by CarPro.

5. Paintwork Decontaminated using Nanoskin Autoscrub.

RIDS were tackled with Trizact 3000 and 5000 grit

Paint was 100% mapped and polished with RUPES LHR15. RUPES Green and Yellow pad used with Menz FG2500 and SONAX Perfect Finish.

After that, paint was fully IPA'd and coated with CQuartz

Great job, what kind of marker is that? Can it just be wiped off or does it have to be polished off?

I really like some of your "glamor shots". Angle, depth of field and contrast are very appealing to the eye in some of those shots.

Nicely done!

Beautiful work that is one grocery getter I would definetly drive. Thanks for posting and sharing. What kind of work light you working with, just curious?

I just bought some, did you use it straight?

Also, great job and nice pics. I like how you drew on the car :)

I'm curious as well... this looks to be a very good idea, although my wife actually just mentioned this is a technique that some claims guys use when inspecting wrecked\damaged vehicles. (she used to work for an ins company and ordered these for them.) Something else to look into trying out.

Curious about the light as well....

Thanks Father87...used it straight. Actually, I removed the bottle from my Foam Lance and replaced by the soap.
From what I have seen, using it diluted is not that effective.
Good to apply with a brush on the wheels too...works nice

Thanks guys.
The marker is a regular one, those that can be used on white boards. Wipe it off and you are good.

Thanks Italian Guy...I use a 300w incandescent light. I've been thinking about upgrading to LED.

yeahhhh im not a big fan of the ironX soap either. Or their wheel cleaner.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of white on most cars, there's something about white and Audi! That is one muscular wagon, love the Avant and I don't believe we get that here in the states, the AllRoad yes, but not the S4 Avant. I also love those wheels and the color of them, too bad the "throwing star" styled centercap color doesn't match but I digress.

Great save on the car, just goes to show you that white can show wear, you just have to know how to see it!

Thanks Klasse Act...agree with you, center caps should be painted as well. S4s are amazing...that body kit put this car in another level.

Thanks for your feedback
