Auto Detail for Porsche that lived on the bottom of a pond | Atlanta Car Detailer

I have a 1995 Mustang GT that looks that bad or worse... Glad to know it will come clean...

What is the product your using on the weatherstripping? I can't hardly read the bottle on the full sized pic...

EDIT: N/N found said product it! I wonder if it will remove some gunk on have on the weatherstripping of our Optima...

For anyone else, 1z Einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner.

Looks great, nice work

Thank you

So was this car actually in a Pond?

Yes. They parked it in a pond and mounted up the scuba gear anytime they wanted to drive somewhere. Im the MAN

Congrats on landing him as a customer.

Very nice transformation. That Porsche was disgusting!

Jean-Claude might land me as a customer soon after I get my new car and need opticoat or cquartz. Him and Bryan Burnworth are the 2 names that come up consistently for the best choices in ATL area detailers.

You should swing by sometime. Monday we have a huge project working on a new Stingray. You can get your eyes on my paint correction, coating and clear bra ability before having to drop some coin.

I also provide complimentary (no-pressure) consultations where we can discuss your personal wants and needs rather than someone throwing services at you hoping something sticks.

Thanks for the compliment at any rate. ;)

Curious. How is/was the finish under all the dirt. Was it all swirled or not too bad since it was hardly ever washed.

Nice work. Looks like you had a productive 7 hours. Thanks for the article and pictures.

What a sty.

I have never encountered a car that could leave a ring on your wash bay.

But at least the dirt protected the finish all those years.

I actually took a few pictures of us blowing debris out of the hardware areas and a shot of the crap all over the ground. It was gnarly how much organic debris there was.

That was my first thought. I can only imagine it will be neglected once it returns to the owners. Which could be a good thing for you!

It was hilarious listening to the couple that owned it talking about the car. It was like an I Love Lucy tirade. He was SSSSO angry about her leaving it in that shape....but in a loving/joking way.

I just want to know who put on the scuba gear and went down in the pond in January to pull that puppy out? ;)

Came out nice, all things considered.
I bet the trim would look even better if that Einszett was spraying on it and not on your shirt.

Wonder who he called around Atlanta that was trying to up sell him? Doesn't sound like Mike or Bryan. But you never know about the Lenox mall and tunnel of doom type places.

It is a wonder though that they didn't try to just sell him a new car all the way around.

The photos sure show a big turn around that's for sure.

I cannot imagine how/why he would fuss at his wife over the condition of that car. I mean seriously! That SURELY did not happen overnight, and it takes two to 'tango' Lucy. ;)

The photos tell the ultimate story.
Although I would not have, and would highly caution against putting customers tag numbers out there on the internet. The last thing that you would want to have happen is for one of his friends, family, or neighbors to call him and say they saw photos of his car that said it was left on the bottom of a pond! As horrendous of a condition as the car was in, to which we all agree. (Some people just don't have a sense of humor at all.) :dunno:
