1. Does anyone use it? Thoughts? Does it make the car pop?
2. Any product recommendations?
3. I found a product called "wet glaze 2.0" that sounds good because of the results and the fact you can add it BEFORE or AFTER wax. That sounds intriguing. I prefer to use Autogeek. Does AG sell any glaze that can be applied after a coat of wax as the final layer?
 
I know Wet Glaze has been on back order for quite a while from the Detailing Shoppe. According to the web site you can get it from PakShak in Hawaii but who wants to pay the shipping from there. There was a good thread on glazes here not long ago, might want to do a search for it.
 
Their shipping is actually pretty reasonable. They use flat rate shipping.

You can try the Poorboy's Black Hole or White Diamond glazes. I think Chemical Guys has some also, but I can never understand their products so someone smarter than me will have to explain them.
 
I really like the idea of applying as the final layer on top of the wax, so I would be interested in a product that offers that.

:iagree: chemical guys dont say whether its glaze or wax
but i think blacklight is a glaze that applies like a wax and dries for 15 minutes
 
Chemical Guy's Blacklight is a very nice product and by itself offers some protection. It's very easy to use. Blacklight hazes and buffs in 15 minutes and can be layered in 30 minutes.

I've used both PoorBoy's World Black Hole and Chemical Guy's Blacklight and PoorBoy's World Black Hole seems to fill better but needs to be topped with a sealant or wax to improve its durability...

I haven't used this glaze but as a general rule, light light light coats make it easier to work with.
 
I always use glaze after polishing, helps to clean up any splatter or left over m105/205. Makes the car shine really nice, Then top with some Klasse sealant. If time allows I'll throw on a coat of wax also.

I think they say remove it right after applying a small area but I as well used it even on a 2 by 2 area was really hard to remove makes for too much extra work. I remmommend presta hand glaze it works really good and you can let it sit all day and it wipes right off.

I bought Wet Glaze 2.0 from Pak Shak in Hawaii. It's as close to a "miracle product" as you can get for LSPs in my opinion. Add tons of shine and gloss above your LSP and it's super easy to apply. It has no cleaners or downside, other than the extra time it takes to apply.

However, there is 1 problem with it - that's whoever makes it. The only place that had it in the USA when I ordered it was in Hawaii (I'm in PA). I ordered that and a backing plate all the way from Hawaii to get it.

When I got it I was so impressed, I immediately went to order another bottle and was prepared to pay just to ship that bottle, as I didn't need anything else. Then, Pak Shak was out of it, "back ordered".

So, I emailed the "manufacturer" and asked the what deal is. I was told, "we can't sell it because we are shipping it out to our sellers daily". I said, OK who Are your sellers? They said check the website. The only authorized seller besides the Detail Shoppe in the USA is Pak Shak. I'm guarding my one bottle with my life. Luckily you use it very sparingly and it spreads thin.

So, who are they shipping this to??? Oddly enough, there is a place in Poland and a place in the U.K. That has it in stock. Go figure.
 
Amen on the wet glaze 2.0. It's a must have product. Truly amazing is the only way to describe it. I'm also guarding my half empty bottle with my life.

I have a bottle from Detail Shoppe and haven't really used it because I haven't seen much discussion on how to best use it...and I know it's not very appropriate to do that here...
 
The Detail Shoppe has been out of Wet Glaze2 for a few months now. I've sent several emails asking when they expect it to be in stock and haven't received any replies. Personally I'm tired of waiting and I've gone to another product.
 
Just FYI guys ... I've seen wet glaze 2.0 available from Amazon. I haven't tried it out yet but I do have it saved in my shopping cart for later.

Btw hope this isn't in violation of forum rules. But seeing as how autogeek doesn't sell wet glaze I think I'm ok?
 
I too have had a hard time getting WG2.0. I have since tried Obsessive Details Glaze...acrylic based, it too has no cleaners and can be applied under or over wax or seaants. It's very nice.

All of their stuff is packaged just like chemical guys. Didn't someone say CG will sell their products unbranded and you can add your own label?
 
Yes, as I understand it, Obsessive Detail (OD) uses CG to make products to OD's specs. The glaze is similar to CG's EZ Creme but without the cleaners. No matter who makes it, IME it's still a very good product. An option to WG2.0.

FWIW, the way I remember it was that Danase made no bones about that the original WG was a CG product (I think also without the cleaners). However, when he went to WG2.0 he changed suppliers.
