Auto SNOBRuM Snow Removal Tool

I think it's time to get one next year. I saw a chaffeur use it few weeks back. He said it works well but it's made out of styrofoam?? Can someone chime in?

It's more foam than Styrofoam. It's soft and a little spongy not hard and brittle like a block of Styrofoam.

Interesting, wish I had this for when I was in Chicago!

Thank You!

Must be nice and light-weight then. I shall order one for next winter :)

It was super cheap and it's brilliant :xyxthumbs:
Yes, very lightweight. The telescoping handle kicks ass since I'm short and I gotta brush off the truck hood and roof.

The Mallory is awesome for light accumulation but if you want to move large amounts of snow in a hurry.....snowbrum ### !

With all the emphasis on preventing swirls and scratches here, can someone tell me how using this tool to push and drag snow across the paint does not cause scratches?

Good question!!

I'm with you on this point.
I just think of all the air-born contaminates, that's brought along with the falling snow, landing on the vehicle surfaces.
Then there's the possibility of the vehicle having some already present dirt, grime, salt, etc. OUCH!

I hate doing it:
But the snow's gotta be removed...That's the Law!!

:)

I wasn't even thinking of the other contaminants, just the snow. By me it's usually pretty heavy wet stuff.

I remember scratching the high hell of the trunk of my fathers 1986 735i after a snow storm as I scooped snow of off it to make snowballs when I was a little kid

He was not happy lol.

If you look at the pics you can see I don't cut it to the paint. I use it to get the bulk off. I try not to hit the paint direct but is it happens to touch I don't sweat it either.

I have no reasons to set limitations on Mallory's snow removal tools:
They have such a fine selection from which to choose.

I consider "My Mallory(s)" to be even more snow-broomish than the SNOBRuM.

:)

I may be thinking of something else then.:-) all good

Mine is made by Hoppy. The handle telescopes, and I use it with the 10" BH brush as well. It was worth the money just for the pole.
