Hey gents I am sure this has been answered 1000 times but what is great auto wash that is super sudsy. Thanks in advance for all the help

I'm not a fan of suds, but just about any wash sold at AG will suds up pretty good with a nice jet of water. I'd assume the DP one for made foam guns would be the best for suds.

I personally think suds are a waste of space... BTBM is my go to soap.:props:

No fan of suds either. There is no evidence whatsoever that more suds means safer or better results. My favorite car washes have little to no suds.

i love suds cause thats how i can see which spots i got by the white of the suds being in place. but back to your question: on the jug or bottle, look for "extra concentrated" or "super concentrated" thats when you know all you'll really need is a capfull for a bucket. (at least thats how i do it)

Optimum Car Wash (OCW) is a nice soap that generates long lasting suds.

Four Star Products Ultimate Auto Wash Shampoo is a ph neutral good n sudzy soap. I really like it.

Here's a few that should meet your requirements.

  • Duragloss 901
  • Detailer’s Pro Series Xtreme Foam Formula
  • Meguiar's Hyper Wash
  • Dodo Juice Born to be Mild Shampoo
  • SONAX Gloss Shampoo Concentrate

while suds are cool, its the lubrication which likely helps best to keep swirls away. I like soaps from Duragloss, Poorboys, Optimum and Griots amongst many.

Well gents thanks for all the advice... One last question what soap is the best to use overall suds or not what's the best

Dp Extreme Foam is what to buy if you like Sudsy.

I really like Duragloss 901, it's very slick and hard to beat for the cash.

The first three that Killr just posted (haven't tried the Griots). But my all time fav Poorboys Super slick and Suds. Could be the smell. Next DG 901. Like that smell too. Both lap the field with lube.

Prophizee,
Just so you know...
Duragloss 901 and 902 are the same exact soap, just different sizes.
901 is 16 oz and 902 is the 128 oz Gallon size.

I am not sure why Duragloss does this as it confuses some.

I'm still searching for a good soap as well and want to try Ultima next. Unfortunately I still have a lot of soap to use (Gold Class, Ricks Best-local detailing shop re-brand, and DP Extreme Foam).

I will say that I am using the DP x-treme foam in a foam gun and it is just "OK" for me. I have very hard water so I'm sure that is part of it.

So gents wasn't expecting so many responds on this post but thank you all for they great info. I think i will order the Durogloss soap and give it a try. I've been using the mother soap and thats probably the first oc stuff I have used in a long time and was not very impressed. One last question should you use a different soap if you just waxed your car then when you are planning to do a complete detail. I promise last question. Cheers and once again thank you
