Here's what I'll be playing around with today...

Last time I worked at an Ace Café show I sanded down my demo hood with $3000 and then pulled the sanding marks out with the "at the time" brand new Meguiar's D166 using both RUPES and FLEX tools. Today we'll change it up with the BLACKFIRE One Step and #2000 grit Mirka Abralon sanding discs.

Velocity is supposed to be here today filming but I'm actually not aware of "who" if any TV personalities are going to be here or "what" show they're filming for?

I worked with bcii - that's the production company that created Overhaulin with Chip Foose and Chris Jacobs among others. There's lots of production companies shooting material for the TV world. Should be interesting. I'm also taking my SCANGRIP Sunmatch Swirl Finder Light, I'll check out the cars they choose, take some pictures, see if they are Competition Ready.

Again - if you're in the Orlando area - stop by, Bobby will give you a free Autogeek Baseball Cap and I'm always up for talking shop.

Nope - it’s a Chevy Show

:)

Ha. Reminds me of last weekend at the Long Beach Vets Stadium auto swap meet, where I took that pic of that Caddy...

I like to collect auto literature, mainly Cadillac literature, vintage brochures, owners manuals, etc. So I spot a booth with a man who's got what looks like a whole bus and more full of auto literature [the side of his bus had "auto literature" painted on it...

So I calmly walked over to make friends and asked if he had any Cadillac stuff? He said no. I was almost stunned, maybe he misunderstood me? So I asked again, and he said no.. It's like I was speaking a foreign language to him or something. I said "seriously? You don't have Any Cadillac stuff?!" I looked at my buddy and said what's up what that?! And we walked away. Lol.

Mike,
I noticed that you snapped a photo of the trunk lid of the lowered Red Chevelle with black top, was that because of a lack of swirl marks?

Yes - trying to capture how perfect the paint is. The only small clouds in the sky were in the reflection.

But the finish on this car - in full sun - is perfect.

That lifted blackbpickup with the huge tires could use some tire cleaning and dressing. Some neat cars. Thanks for sharing.

Are there Menard stores in Florida? Menards started in my hometown of Eau Claire, WI.

It's ok E2K, a caddy is just a Chevy dressed up in a tuxedo :buffing:

Escalade*
And that cheapo looking CUV the SR6 or whatever it's called.. But there's no Chevy that compares to the CT6. That's a real Cadillac.
