That said, that red C4 is a nightmare! I wish people would really think before they freestyle with Corvettes. I can't see people around the world doing such things to a Ferrari or Porsche

I agree 100%. My first thought too.

I’ve seen some abominations of bodykits On Lamborghini and Porsche. Ferrari not so much.

Overall though, Corvettes are "white trashed" more than any other sports car make. They even have catalogs that help you absolutely ruin your car. I'm sure there's some tacky Lambos out there, haven't seen any or Porsches for that matter. I mean the Countach stock is tacky, LOL.

The owner came over to our booth looking for me, he wanted to let me know what an outstanding job you did to his car's paint. Said it was all swirled out and he knew it could look like a true show car if he could find someone that actually knows what they are doing when it comes to polishing paint.

As soon as I got a break from the booth, (it was busy with people asking how-to questions), I walked over and took a close look at it using the overhead sun as my swirl finder light. The paint was flawless. The clear coat was defect-free and totally clear and that's the goal with a clearcoat finish.

Whatever abrasive technology you're using keep using it as it's doing you justice by creating for you a reputation as someone that actually knows what they are doing.

That lifted black pickup with the huge tires could use some tire cleaning and dressing.

This is a very cool and well-built truck. It's a 1981 Chevy Stepside Shorty.

I spoke with the owner quite a bit about his truck and monster trucks in general. He's selling this truck and asking $30,000.00 for it which in my experience with all the mods he's performed to fit 46" tall tires under it - this is a fair price.

The truck has 1-ton axels front and rear and that mod alone give this owner and any owner of this truck top bragging rights. New 4-wheel drive trucks have independent front suspension instead of straight axels. Straight axles are the way to go. Price out lifting a new truck as compared to lifting anything with straight axles and you're going to dump a TON of money into the project and it will never have the cool factor as a truck with straight axels.


As for shining up the tires?

To me these are the perfect candidate for a tire coating not a tire dressing.


My truck would look small next to this 1981. Mine has a 12" lift with 40" tires...

Hey Mike sorry I missed this one, but looks like a much better turn out this time!

And as for traveling to and from, you may want to consider trying the 528/408 route (both toll roads) if you're traveling up I-95. The 408 westbound will dump you on to I-4 east bound one exit south of the Ace. You miss all the theme park traffic with this route!

thank you again for the kind words. For this job I used buff and shine uro fiber pads with Griots correction cream and in some areas fast correction cream. Finishing took awhile to dial in but I settled on M205 on a yellow Rupes pad.
