Autogeek Community Comes together (1996 Ram 3500)

I had a great time today, learning from you guys and sharing stories. Nice to put faces to the forum names too. Thanks to Bruce & his wife for their hospitality as well. I'll probably add some additional pics tomorrow.

I know you all busted your tails! (Please don't take this as complaining, far from it guys) If there was time, I'd love to have see those alloys nice and polished. Then again, Bruce can get to um', while spending some quality time with his 'new ride'. Easy enough to grab a soft seat and just sit there working nice and slow. :)
The wheels are coated/painted. So no polishing was needed

I was glad to be a part of this. The guys were a great group to work with. This was a day well spent. It was awesome! David11g35, ehannigan, AC in OC , and Wheelzntoys for going out before hand to take those pics before we got there.

The guys put forth 110% and we all got along so well. Coupled with the perfect weather it could not have been a better day. I would like to personally thank all the guys who came together who made this happen. Learned new things and also got to try out some new products that I will be purchasing in the near future. Ehannigan for up with a Griots polisher that I was able to put my paws on. AC in OC for showing up with some Ironx and Tarx. David11g35 for brining out the microfiber pads and giving me a bottle of some Megs D151 to try out. Along with some different micro fiber towels and techniques to go along with the day. I could go on and on. I am greatful and hope to see you guys again along side a car that needs a shine. Once a again a stand up group.

Thanks again Bruce for the opportunity. Hope you enjoy and take that trip to Vegas. LOL

Great job. Look like new. Autogeek should have sent a film crew. They could have used it around Easter and called it "The Resurection of a Ram"

OK...so some guy asks for some tips and the autogeek comes to the rescue!!!!!! WOW.....my hats of to you guys and I'm sure the geek of autogeek AKA Mike Phillips will have a smile on his face when see's all the post in this forum.

Excellent job with amazing pictures and results. The transformation from the before and after was indeed a remarkable one. Kudos to everyone involved.

I'm with Dave, it put a huge smile on my face to wake up this morning and see this thread on the top of the recent threads list.

Very dramatic restoration and high quality work, now that the truck is back to stellar condition it will be a lot easier to maintain and a heck of a lot more fun to drive around.

One word to describe this event...

Epic

Great job everyone!

This is so awesome to see on a Monday morning :xyxthumbs:
Really puts a smile on my face to see a group come together and accomplish something so nice for another in need.

The truck looks awesome now and all of you should feel very proud of this.

Outstanding gentlemen!

I love to start the day with a big smile, this surely does that.

Drinks are on me!

Bill

Well done gentlemen! That truck sure is something. This thread is sure to inspire others in the future.

Like everyone else I've been waiting for this!

I knew we had quite a team heading over to help a member resurrect a truck that hadn't been maintained well for a few years.

Documentation is great because it helps those who's only glimpse into what's happening there is through their monitor. Photos are great but you guys knocked this out of the park!! Everything is perfect including the family photo!!

The before and after shots are nothing less than amazing. The tired Dodge looks like it had it odometer turned back to zero as it looks better than new...

I'll bet you have one very proud and happy customer, simply outstanding!! :props:

Bravo gentleman and my hat's off to everyone that went the extra miles to help Bruce out.....

PS.... I love the Autogeek Banner!! :props:
