On Thursday, April 3rd, Nick and I flew from Miami, Florida to Buenos Aires, Argentina to teach the detailing boot camp class we teach here at our facilities in Stuart, Florida in South America.
We had a hard core group of both new and experienced detailers hungry to learn more about all aspects of detailing and not only did we cover a lot of topics but we also had a lot of fun.
Our hosts for this trip were Alan la Bergere, of Monster Detailing School, Christian Thompson of AutoBrillow.com
Our Alan and Christian were superb hosts during our entire stay and helped to translate English to Spanish for any of the guys that could not understand English.
We had a "Meet & Greet" on Friday afternoon that was attended by 30+ detailers from all around the area including a a few guys that have flown to Stuart, Florida to take our detailing boot camp class here in the States.
Saturday and Sunday we went through the same fast-paced, hands-on class we teach here at Autogeek at Christian's detail shop.
Besides all the serious work that was accomplished during our visit we also had a great time and ate some very good Argentina cuisine!
Nick was my assistant throughout our visit and also played the part of ace photographer. You can check out just some of the pictures Nick captured from our visit for just one of the many projects we tackled in the class here,
Blackfire breaks necks in Argentina! - Autogeek's Detailing Class in South America!
We also had a lot of fun at the classes and here's a few pictures showing that aspect of our adventure....
Allen
I met Allen at SEMA where he told me of his idea to bring myself and Autogeek to South America to give others the opportunity to learn the craft of car detailing so they can start and run their own businesses. Allen see the hunger for knowledge and understand that it takes not just good product and tools but the knowledge to use them to create a successful business.
Richard
Richard says he's watched all my YouTube videos and follows me on the AGO forum as well as a Spanish forum I post car detailing articles too....
Tonga aka Pakky
Tonga was great, not only was he passionate about this craft but he was always wearing a smile and helping out wherever needed to keep everything moving forward without a hitch.
Argentina Yancy
The guy I'm getting my picture taken with is Juan Manuel, Nick nicknamed him Argentina Yancy because he's their version of our Yancy. Juan is incredibly talented and if he can ever get through all the editing for all the footage he shot we just might see some videos of the class.
Break Time
During a break I was sharing some pictures of the cars I've owned in my life, everyone loved the 1966 Chevy Milk Truck and my current daily driver my 1987 Silverado 4x4.
