Back story: I order some supplies from AG last Sunday, 4 Dec. The shipment was delivered to my house on Wed in NC and that was with free shipping. Just like always, two days from FL to my door in NC.
I order some items for my other hobby, bicycles, from a big named company based right here in NC on Sunday, 4 Dec too. They are also running a free shipping special that I take advantage of. Yesterday, now Thursday, I'm wondering where my stuff is because if AG can send a shipment from FL, surely a NC based company, only 2.5 hours from my house, could get me my items by now, right?
I called customer service last night and the lady on the phone explains that the shipment went out Tuesday and I should have my package by Monday, 12 Dec. She stated that's what happens when you use the free shipping USPS option.
I explained that another company that I frequently order stuff from is in FL and I get my packages in two days and that is also with free shipping. She didn't seem to care one bit.
So, it's AG's fault that I now have higher expectations when dealing with other companies. Either way, don't slow down AG... we'll just hope others can catch up.
Rant off/
