I was lured into buying the foam cannon by watching the videos on youtube. It really does make the whole washing experience much more fun and easy.

I mixed 3 oz of DP auto shampoo with water, then shook the bottle up and let it do its thing. Overall, I was very impressed with the result. It covered the car quickly and did a good job of dwelling on the surface.

My wife's Ford Escape was already clean and had a layer of Megs 80 and 21 on top so it didn't dwell a very long time, but I could see that on a degreased car, it could dwell for a loooong time.

You used the Task Force 1600 with the Bosch fitting correct?

Thats the one. Works like a charm. It got low ratings on lowes.com, but I went ahead and got the 1 year replacement warranty just in case.

Just cause I have never seen the whole process of washing a car with the foam cannon, after you foam it down do you then go into a normal 2 bucket wash?

Not so much a time saver as an insurance policy. Pre-soaks the grit and grime.

 You let the foam dwell, rinse, then 2B method?
You dont want to drag around the encapsulated/lifted dirt and contaminants throughout the paintwork?

If you're asking, then yes. If you're stating what you do, then that's a good method

Yes, I let the foam sit for a few minutes, and then go into my regular wash methods.

It works wonders on a prepped car with only dust on it since it pretty much slides all the dust off. I'll foam it, let it sit for a few, then just use the sheeting method, dry with a waffle weave, and I'm done.

Nice video. Does the foam cannon have any adjustments for the amount of foam it puts out?

hi guys..

the foam cannon is easy enough to use, and the foam it produces just like a day in bubbly bliss for the car :D

i got 1 attached to my k'archer machine. too bad there's some leak on the metal brass thingy (don't understand much about fixing this, any clue?), but the whole process is fun. one bad thing from this cannon, it added weight to the nozzle.

I'm using meg's deep crystal shampoo for the process. usually, the foaming action sucks with washmitts/sponges..

So do you rinse the soap off and do the normal wash or do you just let the soap sit there while you do the 2 bucket method?

how much water on that plastic bottle does it take to do the whole vehicle?

@maximus: i did the 2b wash method after foaming the whole car. but easier on the grubbing since all the dirt and grimes mostly washed away.

@bmwgeek: the bottle can hold 1 liter of shampoo, i diluted 1:3 megs deep crystal with water. it can be used up to 2 more times full body washing.

the shampoo actually broke down the dirt and grimes faster than standard method. and you don't have to take the nozzle on and off your pressure washer, just take off the bottle and spray away the foam with water.

i like this method coz it lessen the swirl mark risk.
