Autogeek Northern Virginia Detail Meet June 2013 thanks to JSou!

sweet pics! I need to make sure I make the next event

We needed you here man! We took a stab at the rotary and needed someone who uses one on the regular to school us.

I came to see the nice Charger I was talking about in the other thread...
I left with the image of flies going doggy style burned into my head

 We stopped right in the middle of the detail to take that pic.
It was definitely weird. Drew would be the person to notice that...talk about detailed lol.

Those burgers and dogs we were grilling probably lured those pests inside.

Had a fun time despite having to leave early. If anyone is available the 4th we should have a Detail/4th celebration lol....Charger came out great guys!

Wanted to try some more Adam's products, I will see how things work out on the 4th. I could host another on the 20th and the 27th. We learned a lot of what to do and what not to do on this last meet.

Okay I put together some of the clips and put it on YouTube

LMFAO! Thanks for that Rob!

Oh good. Disclaimer: physical exhaustion combined with no coffee and not being a professional car-care anything resulted in my interviews. :)

The candids were awesome. We will be more prepared next time and I will have a full time media guy snapping shots and videos while we focus on learning/working.

Working on my pics but the GF left the camera at her cousin's house. :bash:

Was definitely fun giving SON1C crap about his edited HDR pix.

Haha indeed it was. I can host a quick get together on the 4th if a few people are free. Could have a bbq/detail. Still mad I had to leave that charger came out great!

That "bird" reflection may be enhanced by Drew's Protowax!?!

The first thing that came to mind watching the video was "Man that looks like an awesome fun time" and wish I could do the same down here

The second thought that came to mind was " I would be the old man of the group!!" All you young pups ;)

Perhaps!

It was definitely a fun time. No discrimination of age, race, etc here.

A funny story happened just before we got to working on the Charger. A senior couple stopped by and I thought they were part of the detailing party...turned out that they thought it was a yard sale of detailing products.

The old man wanted my wheel bucket filled with brushes and mitts! lol. It was a funny experience. My face was dumbfounded when he wanted to make the purchase and his was just as confused when I told him..."Sir, we are just gathering for a group detail."

Wish Rob would've got that on video.

Good video man!!! I didn't realize you recorded all that! I should have brought my camera but it was honestly an after thought when I was halfway there:dunno: I'll remember next time though as it looks like this will become a regular meet for us NoVA members!
