Just wondering how you guys thought Autoglym HD compares to some of the higher end waxes. By high end I don't mean Vintage but more like Fuzion, Supernatural, and Souveran. I have looked at the box sitting on the Wal Mart shelf about 50 times but just can't seem to pull the trigger. I'm more of a sealant guy in general so I don't like to spend alot on "beauty waxes".

if it was me id say if you havnt already tryed them try pinnacle waxes. you wont want to try anything else signature series 2 for 49 bucks is a steal and is up there with higher end waxes as far as looks for sure :xyxthumbs:

it's okay. 1 out of 10, i give it a 6. slickness is not there. seems to attract dirt more than others and the dirt actually sticks. some say it's hard to apply/remove. sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. i'd say/recommend picking up some dp max wax instead. price for price, pound for pound.

Thanks for your answers. My short list does include MaxWax and Sig II. I have about 10 sample bottles of Liquid Souveran, a can of Natty's Paste, and a panel pot of Dodo Light Fantastic. Like the Liquid Souveran and Natty's. Haven't tried the the Dodo yet. I'm still new to this scene, so I have an itch to buy and try way too many things!

Durability exceeds SSII, Max Wax, Fuzion, and so on. Just buy it, $35 is cheap. Then buy SSII for the looks and slickness!

ss2 and souveran are fantastic . durability is not great but its so easy just to toss another coat on in a couple weeks it isnt issue.:xyxthumbs:

From this list, liquid Souveran and SSII are enough. If you don't have a budget then buy them all, that's what happened to me. Now I have tons of stuff I probably won't use.

I have way too many questions! If I posted all of my questions that I have rolling around in my head I would dominate these forums.

Anyway, what type of effects are there in the durability of a sealant when being topped with a wax? From what I read there are extra "solvents" in liquid waxes to keep them liquid. Does this have an an added effect on the durability of an underlying sealant?

Off to start another topic...

oh crap!!! dont mind me my brain is fried!! im going to go eat some wax now and go to bed..

I have been using AG Hd this summer and have been very happy with it. Very deep wet gloss and the durability has been great so far. I have not tried as many different waxes as some on the forum, but for me it was money well spent on a very good performing product that is available at WM for $35 and that includes a foam applicator and a MF towel. Try it, I think you will like it

Your teeth will be slick and Shine:hungry:

If AG sold it I'd probably try it.....I try as hard as I can not to buy anything from WM... AG carries more products than I can ever hope to try without stepping in WM...nuff said for me!:p

I have used it several times on various colors of cars.....the pro is, that its a great wax for over the counter,,,,it doesn't come close to high end waxes such as Fuzion, Pinnacle and DoDo Juice...but again for $34.99 its a great wax....I mainly use it on the low paying details.

Fuzion should be your next purchase, even the sampler with show the best in waxes currently.

I had great results using the HD on a red TSX. The wax has been on there for about 3 months and is still beading/sheeting water great! The slickness is not amazing but it does look deep/shiney on a light color like red. For $35 its worth having, give it a try and see how you like it.
