Hi guys,
Although the Tokyo Motor Show has passed, but I just wanna share an electric vehicle that I did for the show. The electric car was a joint project between Technische Universitat Munchen and Nanyang Technological University Singapore. This time I worked together with Raymond from Smartguys Singapore.
The target was to minimize as much orange peel as we can. All the wetsanding was done by hand. started with 2000, 2500 and 3000. followed by compounding, polishing and waxing. We had only two days before shipping it to Tokyo. Supposed to be quicker, but we had to share working space with the engineers, window film installers, etc. In the end, it took us more than 20 hours in total.
ammo used:
Menzerna PG 1000
Menzerna PF 2500
CG Extreme Top Coat
Flex PE 14-2
FLEX VRG 3401
LC yellow compounding pad
LC orange cutting pad
OPC 1:4
pics!
me wetsanding
Raymond wetsanding

another 50:50
another 50:50
we had to work while these guys were working too. very time 'wasting'.
Thanks for checking out :xyxthumbs:
