Only minutes after posting about needing the wife's blessing to order more detailing products, a Forum Member voluntarily offered to send me enough McKee's 37 Paint coating to do my Camaro, to see how I like it! He wouldn't even let me pay for shipping from Florida. Not to mention the other offers I have gotten from other members telling me they would use their own product to help me coat my car, all I had to do was go to them. A couple hours on the road for good company and a free coat of McKee's.

This has to be the best detailing forum on the Internet :props::props:

Yup. Same here. Love this group, think Mike and others have really set the tone. Thanks all of you fellow geeks for being just the way you are! Glad I broke away from my own personal privacy rules...

Don it's the best forum regardless of industry (really). I belong to many forums across different areas (car detailing, pro audio, IT stuff etc.) and no where will you find nicer people who are all willing to help each other. Everyone is always professional, curious and truly in the helping spirit. Glad to see you had such a nice experience, and kudos to the person who helped you.

Any time something like that happens when I'm texting (either dictating through Siri or typing), I always send the Autocorrected one first. :laughing:
 
I've had a very similar experience here and will never forget the generosity bestowed upon me. This is a great community.

Was too embarrassed to post "I love Mike Phillips". Followed by "dammit Siri!"
Combination AutoCorrect of "all of" and then it pulled Phillips from contacts list. Smart phones ain't so smart sometimes. Lol
 
This place never ceases to AMAZE me, ideas, input, help, Mike Phillips, Mike Philips helping to assist a fix on a Flex with answers in hours not days, not weeks hours.. keep up the hard work everyone
 
That's great!

Hopefully you'll get to meet some of the forum members at some point if you haven't. Great people. Down to earth folks. One of the best forums out there.
 
I agree. This forum is a good place. Have made some quality friendships since joining as well.
 
AGO is most certainly the friendliest forum I have encountered.

Besides all of the great advice from some real pros, I love the fact that no member seems to mind jumping in and answering newbie questions no matter how many times they have been asked.

It really makes a new member feel welcome to hear a multitude of answers/opinions instead of rudely being told: "That has been asked a million times. Use the search function".

Speaks to the quality of the AGO members. :props:
