"Just 40 + more to go"! No wonder you're so wore out!
Nice looking interior detailing, my friend!:props:

(To be honest, though, I thought this thread was going to be about your new DD...You know, something big enough to haul you around in for awhile...
And don't get any bright ideas about that brush either! :D)

:)

OUCH! Nice fat joke lol!

I just noticed some of these before and afters are of different Semis of the same group :/ They are all very equally nasty though so whatevers!

Outstanding! Nice picture of the artist you snuck in there lol... I wonder if the drivers will be able to identify their trucks after you finish.

Thanx man - I must say that I am not the only artist! Myself and Tyson (Vice President) are trying to knock these out ourselves and he is amazing at steam blasting all the cracks and cleaning the floors - I have been focusing on the interior surfaces cleaned and shined - ALOT of work!

I hope they can't identify their trucks lol - or else Im not really doing my job :props:!

Hey that's cool to see and a nice turn around too.

Is it fun working on those semi's?

It's fun until your find out that it is midnight and you still have a few hours to go lol! I enjoy the guys I work with and that makes it fun. As for the Semis - they are VERY nasty and I MUST take a shower everytime I come home after detailing one :/ !

The common mantra back in the day was"..pride in your ride". Not much professionalism in todays truckers.

Kudos to you and Tyson for the dedication exemplified in the interior of those Pro Star Series Cornbinders:xyxthumbs:

Many companies use the "slip-seating" methodolgy in assigning trucks - therefore, most will only notice the clean - but ALL would notice the fresh smell.
I concur on the immediate need of a shower after a thorough interior deep cleansing on a class 8 slip-seated rig.

Good luck, God bless, and happy trails to you, hand!

Looking good so far man! Just curious, what did you use to get those stains out of the vinyl on the door panel??

Thanks man! Yeah most of these have a nice thick layer of smoke caked everywhere... spray with strong APC and just see dark brown nastiness dripping -

We use an APC made by my local supplier. We get it by the 5 gallon bucket concentrate. Usually mix 20% Product 80 water..... but for these trucks Im mixing 50/50.

Nice work Anthony.

40 Semis in that condition would be overwhelming but I know you are capable of getting them all looking right.

Keep it up.

Ahh ok. I will have a supplier of my own. So I should just get an APC concentrate? I am guessing you have a few bottles of it that are diluted in different amounts for different toughness of stains?

My plan was to have two to three bottles diluted in different amounts in coordination with how bad the stains are?

I keep about 4 mixed bottles at a time with varying strengths - I rarely ever mix that strong - but these trucks need it and can handle it at the same time - here are a few curtain shots - you can see why!

Wow, yeah. Ok so my thought process is correct in having a few different dilutions. That's ridiculous by the way with how dirty those curtains were!!

Wow!! That is a lot of nicotine on there. Nice work on the trucks. I can't wait to see the whole Shabang of photos! I favor the same brushes that you are using there. I get mine (100% horse hair) from a local surplus store for $2 a piece. The have so many uses they have obsoleted a lot of other brushes for me. Thanks Anthony.

Yes sir - they are all hideous and one of the last things we do because we dread doing them lol! But they do produce a great turnaround for sure.

Can't wait to get them all organized and put into a video and share the wonderful world of Semi detailing to those that would understand what it takes LOL! :dblthumb2:

Will be following this thread! Post all the before and afters you want!

Easy with the professionalism in trucking remark. I will admit that there are some bad apples... Just like any profession. Problem is .. Those are the kind that get all the attention!! And those trucks are nasty... Shower...how about a tetanus shot!!

I drive a truck and am lucky to work for a company that takes pride in having one of the best looking tanker fleets out there. Guys I hang with in the industry do the Special Olympics convoys every year... Have donated their time and truck to aid in disaster relief, etc.

And just remember... Without trucks, America stops!! No wood to build your house... No paved roads ... No food... No car... Let alone the gas to run it...

Sorry to rant... Just don't like the entire industry judged like that..

A bunch of truckers are going to be saying, "Who decided to buy us new trucks?"

Way to tackle that heavy duty grunge and win! :dblthumb2:
