I can say that a more powerful steamer would probably be faster, but the issue would arise about being too aggressive. I can open the vx5000 up and boost the psi produced, but we have to be careful as it is already. It will fade or grayin plastic or vynal surfaces at the current psi if not extremely careful - much more power would worry me in those close quarters.

Yeah, you got to keep that sucker moving or you can do some serious damage. It's a powerful tool. There's a little plastic cover on the door of a BMW that no longer has its plastic coating. Oops.

:iagree: - OUCH! I train my guys by letting them hold steam on the plastics in the work truck or van to give them an idea of how long you can keep the steam on - kind of fun cause we actually get to damage pieces and bring them back to life lol. And if it can't be brought back to life then oh well, its a work truck.

I train on OPC (other people's cars). LOL. My point as well as yours in the earlier post, I think, is that a steamer is magic but it is still a tool and you have to respect its power.
