I survived 2 kids even through my anal retentive "sickness". It's not as bad as maybe you have been led to believe. If you're here in the first place and you just try your best to stay ahead of it it really isn't that bad.

And i raised my kids with the same "sickness". As they got older and we would inevitably chauffeur them and their friends around town, i would have them recite the "car rules" to their friends as soon as they got in!!!

Congrats man. When they're young, not walking yet it's not a big deal. Once they start wearing shoes and drinking out of sippy cups, that's when it begins. I'd recommend soft shoe since they like to kick everything and just be consistent with cleaning weekly or bi-weekly. Besides, when they make messes, it gives us a valid excuse to clean more. Detailing is fun but being a Father is the best! Congrats again.
 
Congrats on the baby. I have a two and half year old and a one year old and its easy to keep the interior clean. Just don't neglect it. Every time I get out of the car with my kids I take out everything we brought. And do a wipe down and vacuum once a week or so.

Everyone is making me feel better about keeping this bad boy clean. I like the point about "it's an excuse to clean more".
