Baby shampoo

Tried the J&J head to toe baby wash. About 1.8 oz to 4 gallons of water. Not nearly as much lubricity as Meg's HW at 1.5 oz to 4 gallons. J&J rinsed easier than HW, but did not dry as easily as a Hyper washed car. Car looked similar to when I used Duragloss car shampoo after drying. I would guess J&J left something behind.

In a pinch I would use again if I was totally out of car shampoo. With no less than 5 different car shampoos around that won't happen.

Interesting

Many baby shampoos will contain
Cocamidopropyl Betaine---a known
irritant/a trigger for: eczema, psoriasis,
rosacea, contact dermatitis, etc.

Therefore, IMO, care should be taken
when using baby shampoos around
certain vehicles' "option packages"...
I wouldn't want to be the person that's
responsible for inflicting the dreaded
blepharitis upon anyone's pride & joy.

You in the medical field by chance, Bob?
•Kinda..
-I'm mostly involved in
the research side:

•Now that I've completed all of my
testing at The Institution...The Wife
has been kind enough (so far) to
allow me some time at the homestead.
-That is, until we find a suitable Nursing
(Old Folks) Home.

A friend of mine swears that baby shampoo is the best car wash soap ever. I figured I'd ask the experts for opinions. Thoughts?

stick to dedicated car wash that's made for the task and you'll have no worries...

Does it have mineral oil? That's what they spray on at the auto washes

Could this mean that J&J is the actual manufacturer of both Zaino & Duragloss? :joking:
