I need some help. I am trying to simplify my detailing arsenal. I mostly just get inside and out car washes. So I want to simplify with the best products for the money. Now I have specialty products for tar, leather seats, shampoo carpets, and so on. But its the basics I want to simplify.

Car wash/shampoo- Meguiars Hyper wash. was using gold class but the hyper wash sounds like a better shampoo and deal.

Detail Spray???- Curretly use adams. best drying detail spray I have used! But at $40 a gallon its not making me much money but I love it to death. So I guess I will try Meguiars last touch detailer? good price and good reviews. But I am open to anyones help on this one cause I am not sure.

APC- meguiars APC, cheap and a very good product, and goes a long way. I have used this and am very sure I will stick with it:)

Interior dressing- This is the one I really need some help on. I love love love turtle wax ice. It is very easy to use and isn't greasy at all. But I cant find it in a gallon anywhere. 303 is what I have been hearing on here. Should I go with it or do you have any other advice?

Tire dressing- I have Meguiars hyper dressing and will stick with it until I run out. So anyone got a better product or about the same for cheaper in mind???

thanks for all advice,
Cameron Rogers

For soap I would say stick with Hyper wash because of how much you can dilute it.

Detail spray - go to Finish Kare 425. You can buy it by the gallon but right now it's on sale 4 gallons for $99.

APC - switch to Meg's APC+. You may want to try out Amazing Roll Off for the engine, and if you like it buy this in bulk as well.

Interior dressing, yes 303 and buy in bulk! Not greasy and leaves a nice finish.

Tire dressing - Meg's Hyper dressing or All season. My favorite is Opti-bond but it's not going to be cost effective for you. Hope this helps some.

If you are looking at a bunch of or mostly wash and vacs I would suggest you stick with the Megs Detailer line in gallons. Really good value for the money. I personally also like Adams detail spray the best out ouf all I have tried (I have probably tried every one on the market). Last touch tends to streak on dark colors in the hot sun, but looks pretty good when out of direct sunlight.

As for soap, I like the Shampoo Plus the best out of that line because the sheating action it leaves behind. It looks like you just waxed the car.

You can still use Gold Class if you buy it right. Every season either SAM'S, COSTCO or BJ's runs GALLONS in the 8.99 to 9.99 range. I always buy a pallet. By the time I calculate in my rebate it's costing me under .07 cents an ounce. Average vehicle 2 or 3 ounces. Cost for this high quality great suds wash product under a quarter a vehicle. Don't forget prove what your paying to AG and they will match the price. Buy it during a free ship period and your all set !
