About 10 months ago, I fully detailed my new black Benz 2012 E350. I would rate it a 7.8/10. It took a total of 8 hours to complete this bad boy and I was very exhausted afterwards. I recently got some quotes from professional detailers starting from $300-$400. I detailed my car using the pinnacle clay bar and now am interested in the Nanoskin pad. I'm not sure if I would take the 6-8 hours again or just hire someone to do it.
If I were to detail again, here would be my steps to detailing it the second time:
All with PC 7424XP:
1. Clay bar or Nanoskin pad w/ lubricant
2. Should I used Pinnacle paint cleansing lotion after Step 1?
3. Wolfgang total swirl remover
4. Wolfgang finishing glaze
5. Pinnacle Sourevan Wax
***I have some water spots, either type 1 or type 2. Would the paint cleansing lotion, swirl remover, or finishing glaze remove it? Or which one?***
Are these the correct steps? Would you guys recommend the nanoskin pad or another nanoskin product instead? Please let me know as I am gathering items as I browse through different brands. Thanks in advance.
