This Wrangler was single stage paint. Are all Wranglers SS? Or just certain colors? As a side note I have always wanted one of these until I worked on this one. I had to pick it up at womans work. Not the best street handling machine and getting in backseat is almost a sport. (Had to take off top to do a proper job) Still love to use it for deer hunting season.
 
Looks great. What'd you polish it with?

M100 on deep scratches followed by UC. Started to finish with 205 but ran out of time for delivery and the UC really finished out beautiful. 845 for protection. Snowed the next day and she loved how snow slid off.

I was running out of time and daylight toward the end so I was kind of rushed. I used optibond on some of it and tried Griot's vinyl and rubber dressing on some. Kind of an experiment. I have to do her str8 grand Cherokee in spring and told her I would revisit plastic at that point. I didnt have any better products to use and snow was coming anyway. I have to get some better ideas for the plastic. It looked great upon delivery but want something that will hold up longer. I use a product on my Avaitor that lasts a while that is linseed oil based. Some "as seen on tv" that was on clearance. Works well on faded lincoln plastic for a month

I have never used the plastic specific coatings or perl but I think I need to add to my products. Any suggestions appreciated.
 
Single stage or tinted clear? Did you Google the paint code perhaps?

As for the trim, you will absolutely love CarPro Dlux coating.

A lot of my customers love Perl as an exterior dressing, but being a water based dressing, it will not last as long as Dlux.
 
Nice work! I went through so many products for trim (not tires) trying to find the right balance of look, protection & longevity. Finally (thanks to the great advise from this forum). I applied Wolfgang exterior trim sealant or "WETS" and couldn't be happier. I just top with D156 every other week now.
