As a former user of Meg's backing plates I 2nd that. Also you can drop the backing plate and go with the Edge2000 system.Meghan said:I prefer Lake Country, but that's only my .02

I've gotten 3 months (almost 4) out of a coat of #16. I'm holding on to my 5 tins it looks great on white.killrwheels@autogeek said:Never got to try it , heard it was quite durable for a carnuaba. Got axed with VOC regulations so must have alot of solvents, or mineral spirits.

:iagree:, so worth the money. Durability is top notch, they just have this solid, quality feel to them. Haven't torn mine even getting caught on parts of our vehicles that should have.justin30513 said:I use them on about 2-3 Vehicles per day.......mostly SUVs. I wash them eash about 2 times per day. No failures at all. You're not having to rip and pull them off the plate....this will save them.
Very durable.

They work with all my polishes so well. They are holding up amazingly tough. I've hit windshield sprayers, headlight nipples (yeah, that's what I call them!), and emblems with no tears to any of my pads. I do half of the vehicle with one side and flip it over and finish. Perfect alignment everytime. Adhesive is strong as heck too.
Cannot go wrong with these. Can't wait for some 4 inchers!
