Bad paint prep??

So client brought in a Yukon, for really bad holograms that "weren't there" when he but it but the more and more he washed it the more visible they became

I did my usual 50/50 to show proof of work and improvements

Then noticed these marks which with the GG6, speed 6 and MF bad with fast correcting cream just on that spot won't come out at all, so it looks like it might be under the clean and bad prep

Gotta be just the clear.
Even if you had a ripple in the base coat, once you put clear on it---the ripple in base coat goes away. (It's not true for sanding marks.)

Hard to see or tell, it's probably just the eggshell finish on top of the clear. This will require wet-sanding to remove.

I've seen caustic degreasers do that to clear coat. It creates a haze all the way to the base coat and can't be polished out.

Your work is so glossy is next to impossible to see!!!

Do they look like sanding marks?
If so, nothing you can do for that. Will require body work to remove and paint.

Some spots you can tell it's definitely sanding marks as they're very deep but other parts like in the recent pictures it almost looks like there was a film placed over the paint that was peeled off but I can't get it to buff out for anything

measurements with a PTG?

•Some of the areas, where the paint
blemishes appear, seem to have way
less Orange Peel than others;
-meaning: those areas may possibly
be too thin to handle much more abrading.

Hackjob Jim Buffin says it looked fine before you even started.

Nice work cleaning it up. I'd say those spots are a result of poor bodyshop prep and paint. Not going to be safely removed by a detailer, or at least not without significant risk to you.
