Bad timing between wash, wax, and detail spray... Advice?

WW=Waterless Wash
UWW+ is Ultimas WW, A 16 oz bottle makes 5.5 gallons. IME it is safer than a QD and adds as much gloss. It will also make a great No Rinse at 1 oz per 3 gallons. No rinse is a very safe option IME. I think Ford went to ceramic in 07 or 08. Hard to scratch and hard to remove scratches!

Would I be ok going with Optimum No Rinse and Shine (ONR) after all is said and done with the other great opinions? Only reason I ask, is because in this specific instance I have an Amazon gift card, so in essence this purchase would be free :) But still, I am looking for the absolute most lubrication and protection while wiping to remove dust.

Also, is ONR mostly a 'wash' product with great lubrication to protect the paint without water... and if so, wouldn't I still need to do a QD after removing all the surface dust of an otherwise clean car that sat in the garage for a few days after a wash collecting dust from the air?

Lastly... VERY interesting about the Mustang Paint, which mine should definitely have being a 2009. Any special products I should use or not use off the top of your head?

Sorry if I missed something because I read the thread quickly. ONR is a rinseless wash, which means that for the most part you use it like you're doing a regular car wash, except without the rinsing part (wash with mitt etc, then dry). I guess there are two main players here, Optimum No-Rinse (ONR), and Detailer's Pro Rinseless Wash and Gloss. Another that has fallen out of favor is Protectall Quick n' Easy Wash (QEW).

Some have suggested a waterless wash, which is more like a QD on steroids, which will handle more dirt than a QD but less than a rinseless wash. Some examples would be Optimum Opti-Clean, Ultima Waterless Wash Plus, and Poorboy's Spray & Wipe, among others. The first two leave some protection, as well.

Either of these approaches should leave your car clean, without an additional QD step required, unless you're doing that for appearance purposes (and I think most would say that either of these approaches would provide gloss enhancement similar to a QD). I don't know how dusty your garage is, or what kind of dust it is (important), but if you are saying the car was washed a few days before, it shouldn't need much, right?

I agree with Setec! ONR adds a good bit of gloss, If you have a gift card, buy it and try it, Most of us consider a No Rinse a Must Have!

ONR (Optimum No Rinse) works perfectly for the situation you describe. As others have stated it is very easy and quick to use.

Thank you so much for all the helpful advice. I found PBMA on Amazon, and bought a ton of products from them, almost $400 worth, the only thing that was terrible was that they charged around $6 for EVERY product purchased on shipping, so I paid a fortune for that even though it all ships in one box from the warehouse.
