How do i clean this wheel that has caked break dust. Its on so thick and hard i tried soaking it with de greaser full strength but it did very little.

Try iron-x or sonax full effect wheel cleaner then if that don't help use acid or have the wheels refinished

That may be little past cleaning. Try IronX Paste. Probably need a dozen applications to get it all off.

Go to harbor freight and buy a soda blasting kit. Take the wheels off and soda blast them. Go to advanced auto parts and get a can of silver wheel paint and a can of clear. No product is gonna fix those my man!

I suppose IX paste (or one of the sprayable gel fallout removers - not sure you have any of these in the US) is the next thing to try. IX itself is going to be too runny so you won't get a long enough contact time (thought it would still bleed like crazy!) to really eat into it effectively. If that doesn't work then you are into an acid product. I wouldn't let this worry you excessively - a single treatment on your finish is not likely to do any harm at all.

You tell the customer their wheels are ruined and that they need refinishing if they want them to look new again

try using a steamer, i use one on all the wheels i clean and it always works

I had wheels like that once out of all the wheel cleaners I tried Megs Hot Rim All wheel cleaner did the job.

Acid based wheel cleaner will remove that immediately.
