Ball Bearings to put in 1 gal product

Maybe the ultimate would be ceramic? But I am not sure how much mass they have. I have seen stainless bearings on that one auction site.

I can order stainless from Home Depot, I'm just wondering if that's the best thing to put in my product.

My biggest fear is any degradation of the bearing that will contaminate the product. I suppose there would be none with stainless.

I used to do nickel plating for a living back in the day, it is pretty durable. It is actually a component in the makeup of most stainless steel. In a polish it should work well.

•My local Lowes, Home Depot have loose-(ly)packed
SS ball bearings in their specialty pull-out shelves.

•My local Sporting Goods stores have SS balls:
(sling-shot ordnance)

Maybe glass marbles? I don't think those will contaminate the chemical with defeating from exposure to chemicals

Was waiting for your post Bob! :-)
Yeah, I want to Home Depot, they had none, then I went to ACE HW, they only had what they could guess as nickel, or it could have been chrome plated. I opted not to take any chances. I will have to order stainless on-line.

I wouldn't be surprised if the big box stainless ball bearings were low grade and ready to rust anyways.

I know Walmart sells sling shot ammo, which is basically small metal balls/bearings....I just don't remember exactly what kind they are

Nuts and bolts are a very bad idea.
Shavings from the threads inside the bolts can get into the product. I would not advise that.

I will just shake the product as Nick and Mike recommended without adding anything to it.

What about Kid's Playing Marbles from a Toy Store?

Imagine little glass shards in your finishing polish...whoops

Glass or Metal your choice.

You could also check with your local craft store.

I have seen indiv. using glass marbles in flower vases for decorations, etc.

Yeah, those little oblong shaped things people put in with fake flowers.

Bust open a empty de-pressured spray paint can.
I am in to repurposing.

I don't know what your trying to mix, but you could always empty the product into another open container and mix at will. There will obviously be some waste, but it's sure to work.
