was relaxing, eating pizza and downing cold ones around 9:30pm, watching tv. then...... out the power went. as luck would have it we have plenty of led lights, so that helped. gf was worried about the fridge, stocked with grub for a cookout today. looks like everything was back on around 2:30am. i am sure we will hear what caused it.

Talk about timing! Imagine getting ready to turn in for the night and the power goes out just to be restored in the morning....Gonna be a great day! :props:

We had bad storms come thru detroit metro area last night. We were lucky we weren't in the outages. It messed up some festivals bad but they should be up and running by opening time. It brings in a ton of cash for the local economy. Our cars were snuggled in the garage out of harm's way. If we lose power it's get in the bed of the truck and out on the other side to access the only way to open the garage door. :nomore:

What part of Pa, GMC? I live in York and we got some huge thunderstorms come through here about that time, or maybe a little later. We were ok but a lot of power outages resulted from the storms. Glad you are back in business. Enjoy the cook-out today.

The non-storm related outages tend to equipment failure (transformer) or someone hits a pole.

It was around 7am to. So it was getting dark. :help:
